You look like you're lost
in a world filled with confusion.
Your eyes tell a story
that your lips could never reveal.
You are putting up a front
whilst hiding heartache and pain.
Afraid of putting your trust in another,
Afraid of being targeted by Cupid again.
But I'm here
offering a helping hand.
I know you're scared,
Cause time after time you were hurt.
Time after time treated like dirt.
But I'm willing to dry you tears.
Willing to help you conquer your fears.
All you have to do is say yes
and put your trust in my hands.
What I'm asking for is simple:
Just one chance...
