Then in a shed of Bethlehem
Upon a bed of hay
Where God His Lamb revealed to them
Who failed to find The Way
The Word of God came down to earth
Becoming flesh and bone
As son of man! was given birth
To save man’s heart of stone
Through living stone God seeks to build
A temple high and wide
Where soon with covenant fulfilled
With man! He’ll live inside
Till then He’d walk He’d talk and heal
Preach and teach throughout
Until the day He’d plant His Seal
Ridding His bride of doubt
As Abraham had done before
Pledging his son to die
Till Heaven saw his love was sure
A lamb would God supply
Nailing God’s Son upon a tree
Before man’s sinful eyes
Suffering death to set those free
Who through His blood would rise
When all have joined God’s chosen few
When trumpets sound out loud
Then Abraham and Moses too
Will join us in the cloud
So once again to Heaven’s plan
The Lamb of God was killed
The covenant with mortal man
Was truly then fulfilled
