Going Home

Through numbness I try to say my goodbyes
But apathy says to just leave
So much had been lost and at what cost
But a life that could never let be

In deep retrospect I sit and reflect
As my mind drifts into the sea
The time has come now to ask my God How-
to disappear completely

In a calm gentle rain the Angels all sang
Your struggles need continue no more
Your soul is now free from this misery
No longer this pain you'll endure

To the Red Moon who lied the night I had died
And all who had played their own roles
I forgive one and all as I answer the call
And pray mercy upon all of your souls

Fear not for my fate as I must abate
As the soul that does matter not
Neither my time nor my place, but only the face
That even our God has forgot

The time has now come to end all this fun
No longer shall I roam alone
Passed Heavenly Gates, my Dead Star awaits
To show this lost soul the way home...
