Golden Jubilee Poem by Ayandare Mayowa

Golden Jubilee

At the resignation of the big light
Twilight of the days reign
Sat I, reminiscing the essence of today's date
In the spiritual, Maybe more meaning it holds
Who and where is the Shepherd of this sheepfold
The nation groans, her youths walk in blindfold
The valiant s sword rust in sheath
Victory songs not in tune
Who will go for us
Stringing the harp, giving melody to the jubilation in golden jubilee
