Good Morning My Dear - Poem by Michael P. McParland

Good morning sweet love
and I truly love you so very much.
I'm sorry I missed our goodnight.
I was so very tired and I fell asleep,
I feel awful dear one please forgive me
for not sending my kisses to end the day.
I send you ten times as many
sweet loving kisses and hugs right now.

Good morning my darling and have a good day,
remember I'm with you and holding your hand.
Feel me give yours a squeeze to show my support
and my loving dedication to my sweet Angel dove.
I'll stick with you always my one
because I love you deeply and want you to know
that you're not alone because Michael
will always stand up for and protect you.

I wish you were here with me
so here in the early morning you could
lay in bed and cuddle with me.
Whisper assurances and reaffirm
that I'm always here and I love you so dear.
I wish you were here to cuddle
and give the day the start that it needs.
I love you sweet lady and am so
truly grateful for you my sweet love.

Close your eyes if you're feeling lonely
and remember the warmth of my adoring smile.
Feel all of the love I send to you my fair lady,
feel the sun as it shines on you
delivering the message and warmth of my deep love.
Don't fear anything my sweet dear
because I am here for you always and whenever you need.
I love you my Angel and give you my solemn word.
Take strength my sweet lady and feel
my arms as I put them around you.
I'll be right by your side always supporting you.
