Goodbye Poem by Emily Harris

Goodbye

If you knew i was there,
If you knew how much i cared,
If you knew that i loved you,
If you knew it was true,
Would things be different?
Or just the same to you?

I'v got to stop,
You know its time,
You knew i was there,
You knew how much i cared,
Not only did you know,
I told you twice in a row,
But you just pushed me off,
Like it didn't matter at all.

If i could go back and make me Skinny,
If i could go back and make me Pretty,
If i could go back so i was your Type,
Would you still pass me by?
Or would you stop and look me in the eye?

If there was the time, I'd do it,
If there was a way, I'd have it,
But for now I think its time,
For me to stop looking by,
Realize there's more then what meets the eye.

Time for me to get up off my Feet,
Up off the Ground,
Shake off the Dust,
And get out of this Pound,
Get you out of my Head,
Out of my Mind,
And the next time you look at me,
I'm gonna have to walk on by.

Maybe then you'll realize,
I'm more then just an eight,
I'm kinda like a SuperStar,
I always like to go far,
You'll never expect what i'll do next,
But if you gave me a chance,
You might of guessed.

If your hair wasn't so Beautiful,
And your smile never took me by surprise,
If i could stop looking in your eyes,
I might of gotten to say......
Goodbye.
