I was so happy because I had you,
Right there and then I used to miss you
Everyday was an exciting day to wake up,
coz I knew deep in my heart we’ll never break up.

That wonderful moment was ruined by you
For letting me believed it was all true.
The joyful face I used to wear,
was left out wrecked somewhere else.

I was really impaired for what you’ve done
I was turned down into pieces and the trust has gone.
You leave wounds that tore me apart,
Now I don’t have the confidence to give my heart.

But I have to let you go
‘coz the more I looked intently my scars,
the more I considered the hurt,
all the more I’ll have the difficulty how to start.

I believe everything has a purpose.
I should thank you instead for coming into my life
and for giving me the greatest lessons that I must apply,
to forgive, to apologize,
and to let you go…
