The Time Has Come For Me To Say
'Farewell'..To You Old Friend
To Step Out of Your Shadow
Let the Light Find Me Again
I Can't Recall a Time
when you Have Not Been Part of Me
The Bond So Strong;
How Did My Friend...Become My Enemy? ?
I Knew That I Could Count On You
To Give Me What I Need
Secure in Your Embrace I Could;
ESCAPE....And Simply Be
I Came Under Your Spell because
I Had Nobody Else
But Through it All, I gave So Much
To You.....I Lost Myself! !
Whatever Was Between Us
I Regret Whatever It was
Because the Price To Be Your Friend,
It Came..At Just Too High a Cost.
You Helped Me When I Called For You
But...All of it....Was Fake
You NEVER Helped Me...All you Did,
Was Aide in My Escape
I Cannot Blame It all On You
My Pain Was Just Too Deep
But Now I Know..You Got Your Hold
On ME...When I Was Weak
And So I say GoodBye To You
and Your Detrimental Part
I Have The Strength To Do Without You
And I Leave You In My Past.
