Goodnight From The Stars - Poem by Michael P. McParland

Look up to the stars sweet lady and see me smiling
and waving as I say goodnight my true Angel.
Feel the abundant warmth and love I am sending,
receive all these big hugs and trillions of kisses as well.
Each one contains special love that is only for you,
only you can handle the immense power they bring.
Look to the stars and moon and see me smiling at only you.

I'll see you in the land of dreams where with me
among the stars and moon is a special scene I've
prepared for just you and me.
A majestic lake side picnic under a tree laying
down holding each other as the stars put on a show
of fire works for us to enjoy.
A special scene prepared by me just for us among
the moon and the stars in the land of dreams.

Look up at the stars before you retire under the covers,
then feel the warmth and peace as I slide in behind you.
Wrapping my arms around saying I love you sweet lady
you're my only Angel I want to spend eternity like this forever.
Please let your guard down as I will let mine down too,
accept me fully in trust and get each other through the hard times.
I want you and need you in every way that there is,
please give me your hand and spend eternity together.
First though tonight look up into the stars and see me smile.

Love makes one travel to any extent..... perform herculean tasks, undertake any sacrifice..... even pluck the moon from the heights! Here I see a gallant lover out to do anything for his loved! See how he has become a shining star to throw light in her path! Greatly enjoyed this flight of fancy! (Report) Reply
