Goodnight My Sweet Angel - Poem by Michael P. McParland

Goodnight my sweet Angel Kira I hope you rest well,
I miss you so very much and this separation is hell.
I'm with you though in spirit always holding you close,
surrounding you in my love and warmth.
I love you so much and here is a big goodnight kiss.

I'll be with you in spirit the whole night through
holding you close telling you I love you and
how much I cherish and treasure you.
That I want and need you to come back so I can
be right next to the one I adore,
look into your eyes as I caress you and then
passionately kiss you fulfilling us both with the
satisfaction of finally getting that longed for dream.
The beginning of a long awesome journey just you and me.

Tonight though with you in spirit and in the land of dreams,
where I just want to hold you and fulfill our needs
that ache so very deep helping us heal and be at peace,
giving us strength for everything that is ahead.
God willing soon we'll be together again,
but in the land of dreams on this night holding each other
our hearts and spirits healing as they touch one another.
A time for us to just lay down and rest feeling content.

Goodnight my sweet Angel I am sending you all of
my love and warmth along with great big kisses and hugs.
I'm holding you tight kissing you deeply telling you
I miss you so very much and I need you back.
Feel me there with you and be filled with deep peace and strength,
because I love you my dear and we'll find our way back together,
sealing our bond entering our union into eternity,
we'll live in joy feeling complete having each other again.
