Goodnight Sweet Love (All For You) - Poem by Michael P. McParland

Goodnight sweet love I do it all for you,
I continue on no matter how they laugh or call me a fool.
I fight on through because you love me
and I ever so deeply love you.
So as this day ends remember and feel all my love
and that I won't give up because I do it all for you.

I send you all my warmth and love with
endless amounts of great kisses and hugs.
Feel me there holding you and pulling you close
for the peace and comfort we both so badly need.
Goodnight sweet love I'm always here.

I'll meet you in the land of dreams where
we will dance the night away with the moon and stars.
Talking and laughing rejoicing with each other our time at hand,
being filled with joy because we know reality will soon be here.
In the land of dreams kissing, dancing, talking, laughing,
everything we can ever want because we are one and feel true love.

Goodnight sweet one my heart beats just for you,
when you finally come I'll shut the world out forevermore.
I will disappear to them only you and family will hear me then,
I would never try to restrict or control you though have no fear.
It is just I that needs to pull away from them,
just you and me forevermore feel me beside you always my only love.

Goodnight sweet love I need you here because your beauty
all around fills me with endless boundless joy that
only you will ever comprehend.
I love you deeply and please let's make our dreams real very soon,
because I can't wait to spend forever with only you.
