Goofy Ejects Little Beaver Poem by Doug Stewart

Goofy Ejects Little Beaver

Last night I dreamt a Disney dream with
Orchestra and dancers parading ‘cross my
Mind. I could even taste Green River and
Butter Pop and I saw Donald Duck dancing

With the queen, while Huey, Dewey, and
Louie stealing her silverware, Snow White
Made goo goo eyes at her charming pretty prince,
While Lady made out with her Tramp and the

Visitors smiled, the violins softly arpeggioed.
The drums echoed each footfall when
Mickey and his brooms were waltzing
Down the stairs, and an angry Mage was bellowing.

And suddenly I found myself in the “happiest place
On Earth, ” without a penny to my name. The ticket taker
Called security and I was ejected by Goofy without
Ceremony or song, when I woke up, well I knew it all along.
