Gothic Legion Poem by Derrick Andrews

Gothic Legion

Blood scintillates upon the floor,
The after-effects of necromancy,
Old Scratch chalks up another score,
The gruesome death, quite to his fancy,
The common man lacks the gumption,
To repel the deadly ghoul,
This world, so full of corruption,
So desperately greedy and cruel,
Our world deserves to suffer,
We must repay our sins,
Religion, our only buffer,
To the evil that lies within,
I find it quite mundane,
The pointless Chattering of priests,
Their basic actions remain the same,
All still brute-like, evil beasts,
Death sharpens his scythe again,
Yet another evil soul to claim,
Retires from slaying, to his den,
In a meager few seconds, he must rise and do the same,
Far too much work, I think, for mearly one being,
For that reason alone I believe we must aid Him,
We must send this world to hell, while it is fleeing,
Create our eternal Damnation with Old Grim,
Join my humble alliance, we require your assistance,
Cause harm upon innocent and evil alike,
We must completely eradicate human existance,
Then, and only then, may we experience life,
Slaughter your neighbors, decapitate their young,
Only then can true purity ever be born,
Make sure every human is massacred or hung,
The fabric of their immorality must be torn,
Slit the throats of your kin, if they rebel,
And The Prince of Darkness will see to it you gain your reward,
We will send them in abundance, to the depths of hell,
Oh the relief Grim will feel, he may even grow bored! ,
'But why? ' you ask me, 'Why destroy humanity? '
That question, I believe, is null and void,
I assure you, our Legion has maintained its sanity,
Though, you have but two options, death or be employed...
