Grammar Poem by Dashaun Rashod Snipes

Grammar

Rating: 5.0

Grammar, the foundation of speech
Without it, our words would be out of reach
A collection of rules and structure
Ensuring our language is pure and proper
Nouns, verbs, adjectives galore
Each with a purpose, to explore
Sentences come to life with punctuation
Grammar is truly a work of creation
From the Oxford comma to subject-verb agreement
Every little detail, we must acknowledge and treat
For a misplaced comma can change the whole meaning
And grammar mistakes can be quite demeaning
But fear not, dear writers and poets
For grammar is not a foe, but a guide to greatness
It helps us convey our thoughts and emotions
In a way that's clear and full of devotion
So let us embrace the beauty of grammar
For it is not just a set of rules to hammer
But a tool that allows our words to flow
In a way that captivates and makes our hearts glow
Grammar, oh grammar, how we adore
Your structure, your rules, we can't ignore
For without you, our language would be lost
But with you, our words can reach any cost.
