Grandma Poem by Roni Feuerhelm

Grandma

You gave me all the love I could ever ask for.
I know I could always go to you for sheltter.
I know I wasn't the greatest grandaughter.
I feel as though if you where to die today I'd lose it all!
Watching you suffer is the hardest thing of all.
I never thought you would die before my very eyes.
I've sheed my tears, I've complained to God why did it have to be you?
Will I still be strong even when your gone?
Will I know what to say when things don't go my way?
I'll never regret the time I cared for you, I'd risk it all just to help you make it through.
But as we both know God has a different plan.
Soon it will be time for you to take his hand.
Grandma I know this is a lot to ask but you need to hold on for a little longer, to help us all be stronger!
Couple more years then I'll say my good-byes; hug and kiss you for the verys last time!
But until then your still mine
I'll help you reach for his hand
When you grasp on I know you'll be safe once again
You'll still have a place in my heart until I die
Then we'll reunite in the sky!

I start to miss my grampa when I read this poem, and I really burst into tears...
