Gravesite Confessions Poem by bobby kramer jr.

Gravesite Confessions

Here I am sitting
right beside your grave
I know you hate to see me cry
so, I promise I'll try to be brave.
I miss you so much, grandma
life is just not the same
now, all I do is talk to dirt
on the gravesite where you lay.
It has been six months already
since you went away
the pain and memories are vivid
as if it happened yesterday.
I have to put my sunglasses on
because I don't want you to see me cry
I gave you my word, I wouldn't
I promise, I did try.
I miss your presence around me
I miss your smile so bright
the one that made me feel so good
when my days weren't going so right.
I wish you could be here with me
to see the things that I have done
the poetry I have written
and the writer that I have become.

I MISS YOU AND LOVE YOU! !
I HOPE, I MAKE YOU PROUD
