Have you noticed?

The fact that I am perpetually
on the precipice of your event horizon,

The way that light refracts around your curves?
Captivating my attention
intensely without my consent,

turning the Butterflies in my stomach
into dragons to weave and swerve
roaring and ready to serve

Commanded
by the the red heart queen,
a goddess vision like no other seen
that threatens to become an obsession
in the scenes of my imagination
or that I've been fighting to hold on
to the light coming through,
As though I stood any chance of escaping
your cosmic event

Far
too
Late,
it looks like I've already fallen
and this has been the great descent,

so Why
Does it feel
like ascension?

Because I feel like I'm flying and falling

Yet always pulled back in
time and time again

No matter how far you go

I know

Like the moon to the earth
by your side I'll remain.

Have you noticed?

that you overpower gravity?
Crushing me sweetly
while lifting me easily?

How you keep me grounded in your light,
Yet bring me higher than all the stars
in the dark sky night.

I'm sure you've noticed?

that you control the wind,
Filling my lungs to leave me breathless again
In the end
with every kiss

The second your lips touch mine,
each time
as if it were the first
and I wouldn't find peace
until I've had plenty
yet after so many
still feeling as though
i've barely had any

how the feeling of my skin
on your skin

Electrifies my soul

Reignites my thin flame
and puts a stopper in the hole
found in my chest,
And Although you stole my heart
you left a sliver
to keep me breathing
while you kept the rest,
And your voice
keeps my sliver beating—
racing, stopping at your whim,
reacting.

So you see now, right?

How The brightness of your sight
in the morning
is my heart's greatest delight,
that your smile
puts the sun to shame,
that your hair
is made out of strands of light,
And all This I've Claimed
since our story first begun
while you burrowed Into my heart
oh so slight

Because ever since then
I've noticed

That around you my spirit is weightless
as if pure light,
that you are the reason for my peace at night,
That even through
the rollercoaster of your loves might
I stand more steady with your hand in mine
making everything else just right,


Dragon tamer, my red heart queen,
through your gravity's torment I found my wings,
And ever since you've kept the rest of my heart
I've had the pleasure of ascending to red heart king,

elevated to new starry heights,
my heart in yours is our heavenly rite,

and although it filled me with deadly fright
as long as I'm yours and you remain mine
we will face this world divine,
Through all our darkest nights, travels and goodbyes,
Because in your eyes I see my universe aligned.
