Greater Israel Poem by Mohammad Yousef

Greater Israel

By Mohammad A Yousef

In the land of Israel, a dream takes shape,
Of a Greater Israel, beyond borders and gate,
Stretching across lands far and wide,
Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, they seek to abide.

A vision of power, of dominance and might,
The dream of expansion, shining so bright,
They look to occupy, to conquer and claim,
To make their mark, to rise to fame.

Lebanon, oh Lebanon, with your mountains so high,
Your beauty and splendor, they catch their eye,
They wish to possess you, to make you their own,
To plant their flag in your soil, to sit on your throne.

Syria, oh Syria, with your ancient land,
Your history and culture, so grand,
They yearn to control you, to rule over you,
To make you part of their empire, so true.

Iraq, oh Iraq, with your rivers and plains,
Your riches and resources, they seek to gain,
They desire to conquer you, to subjugate you,
To make you obey, to make you bow.

Saudi Arabia, oh Saudi Arabia, with your vast desert,
Your wealth and power, they wish to assert,
They aim to dominate you, to dictate to you,
To make you submit, to make you pursue.

Sinai, oh Sinai, with your beaches and sands,
Your history and heritage, they wish to expand,
They seek to conquer you, to control you,
To make you part of their kingdom, so true.

But the dream of Greater Israel is not without cost,
It comes with challenges, it comes with exhaust,
The world looks on, with eyes wide and afraid,
As Israel seeks to conquer, to invade.

The people cry out, for peace and for justice,
For freedom and equality, for trust and for trust,
They protest and resist, they stand strong and tall,
Against the dream of Greater Israel, against the call.

But Israel presses on, with determination and zeal,
With power and force, with sword and with shield,
They march forward, with eyes set on the prize,
To create their empire, to reach for the skies.

And so the world watches, with bated breath,
As Israel looks for Greater Israel, to conquer death,
To shape their destiny, to fulfill their fate,
To rule over lands, to dominate.

But in the end, will the dream come true?
Will Greater Israel rise, shining so blue?
Or will the people rise up, in unity and in might,
To challenge the dream, to stand up and fight?

The answer is uncertain, the outcome unclear,
But one thing is certain, one thing is near,
The dream of Greater Israel, it looms large and bold,
But the will of the people, it cannot be controlled.
