Greedy Beggars Poem by Folorunsho Ahmed adekunle

Greedy Beggars

Rating: 5.0

Empty hand in front,
Rich one behind,
The rich hand taking from the poor pocket,
Rich mind with a poor face.

Pitifully they showed up,
To take from your nothing to their something,
Greedy beggars indeed!
Self centered but crave for selfless pals.

Are givers really foolish?
Or blessed is the hand that giveth,
As they give from their little,
And the greedy makes fool of them.

Greedy beggars are rich parasites,
Draining the host,
They itch with pleasure to causehavoc,
Be kind but watchful, never be gullible.
