Grief Poem by Sangeeta Thapliyal

Grief

Grief

Grief is if love is, But
Let not grief hold tight,
Cause it strives to occupy.
It digs hollows dark, deep,
Inside heart with silent weep.
So let the pain cease, and
Cherish the warmth of love,
Treasure the moments of joy,
Caress the sweet memories,
They are to last a lifetime.
Let go with grace and honor,
It is none but soul's desire,
To rejuvenate from the pyre.
To end life's bitter strife
And embrace the divine
In another dimension of life.
