Haiku Quartet Poem by Mary Champion

Haiku Quartet

Can't change yesterday
But today we can begin
To heal tomorrow

2/9/2020
Now the day recedes;
the tide of light is ebbing.
Autumn is coming.

The Sun slowly melts,
dissolving in the river
and staining it red.
