Half Way Home Poem by omotunde moses medese

Half Way Home

Lost hope, broken heart
I hope one day we find the joy we talk about
I kept searching for the exact route, amid doubt
I hope these storms don't overpower me and make me lost.

Slippery path with nothing to hold on to
I pray I won't fall again in my quest for greatness
Been moving around with a heavy heart, with so many words I can't talk about
waiting for you to hear them popping through my heart

My world is a combination of illusion and reality
I am dreaming of the last strength back home.
