Hallucination Poem by O Sudhir Janardhanan

Hallucination

Rating: 2.8

Barren desolate landscape
Nowhere to escape
The noon sun beats down cold
The chill rises from sole to every pore

The room dim expands
Constricts, to, in its snare entrap
The blindness behind closed eyes
Sees only light, bright white

Chitter chatter of silent noise
Heard clear in the crowded loud void
Every, guitar chord magnified
Music seen in, drugged mind, colours bright

Time spent with secondary smoke
Roomful, smoking cannabis and shooting coke
Know mind weak, on a loose grip
Hallucinates, again, goes on its own trip
