Happiness Poem by Nicky Turner

Happiness

Crying those lonely tears
Drying those empty eyes

No feeling left inside
Hiding the scars across my wrists

Trying to believe something’ll come my way
Darkness welling up inside this heart

Cold and shiny
Deadly quick, blood spills to the ground

The time I want is a memory, never found
Creeping inside the feeling it’s the end

Dying,
The blood spilling mixing with tears

Bloods thicker then water
But when I die it all come out as one

Bitter mixing with the sweet
I can’t remember sweet

Look in to the mirror this is my last sight
Trying to remember the happy times

Figures in my dream, cry
I try to smile

This is my death, this when I’m happiest.
