Happiness Poem by Woru Sulyman

Happiness

I saw it in the little barefooted girl
Dancing in the rain
I saw it in the tiny boy playing in the dumps
I saw it in the herd of beggers feasting on crumbs
I saw it in those homeless children running with the train
I saw it in the mansion on the hill made of stones,
I saw it in the tiny hut made of raffia too
I saw it on days when tales were told by moonlight,
I saw it when there was no tales to tell too
I saw it in the darkest places that shines no light,
I saw it where only lights pass through

A ray of smile, or a heart full of laughter,
I saw happiness in the weirdest places.
