Happiness In Disguise Poem by Gautam Sen

Happiness In Disguise

My despair......

Life when blossoms,
the Happiness, the Glee
and the Bliss bloom seldom.
I often take care to spot their identity.
These precious flowers appear at random,
and so short-lived that they fly away without any plea.

Mind's cavern yearns for the pleasure
of those sparkling beams of ecstasy,
ardently craves for timeless treasure.
Vanish away these rare floras like fantasy.
All of them disappear beyond measure
without any realization of their natures so fussy.

My Realization.......

Gem of a piece is the peace of mind,
has to be sincerely found within.
Amidst the nifty darkness of a kind
that I call the depth of pious thinking,
my receptive mind no more remains blind.
As all these blissful glees simply flash in.

Like an anticipatory ant
I try to store them - not to starve,
honor I put on this heaven's grant
and gleefully thank Him which He deserves.
My mind like paradise becomes fragrant
with all flowers of happiness. I observe.

My Salvation.......

So I am happy, I have the glee
to find them in my mind's soil
blooming peacefully.
Happiness and bliss now never recoil.
My hungry mind and my barren heart
have become a graceful lea.
