Happiness Second Time Round
Because of you
life began anew
and love flourished again
when all hope seemed in vain.
I'll not let happiness pass me by,
gloom will not hold me in its sway
casting shadows upon my day,
colouring it with shades of grey.
Good fortune has come my way,
I will cling to it come what may,
I am certain it is here to stay.
I'll not let happiness pass me by.
