If I could, I'd cover you in a wrapping paper,
Your own birthday surprise,
And I'll make sure to put a bow on top,
One that sparkles like your eyes.

You're the most priceless, beautiful treasure this planet has ever received,
And I sincerely want you to know
what it is like to unwrap a present
that makes your whole world glow.

You light up the world in a million ways
I will never match with paper and ribbon.
All of the glint and glitter that ever existed
Could never match the shine that you have emitted.

I want to cover you in a wrapping paper,
Ribbons, tags, bows
And anything it takes to show you
