Harbour Father Poem by Vincent Topp

Harbour Father

You will always return
Replenish your vitals
Because your made of sun and soul
Harbour Father is waiting to welcome you back home
Come back to where you feel you belong

Come back dramatically
Come back in stealth
To Harbour Father's open arms
The lighthouse where your moral compass directs you home

You always were on a string
When the tug is getting stronger every time
The further away you go the more of an orphan you become
The flames on the shore never went out
Harbour Father is waiting for your return
V Topp
