Hateful People Poem by Custous Angelus

Hateful People

Ah human how treacherous you are
Am I a mere toy to your thoughts
Am I worth nothing more than a spark
That might ignite your interest
What have I done wrong to you
It was you who slandered
It was you who cursed
It was you who chastised
And now that you think otherwise
You turn your eyes to me
Filled with hatred and malice
You suddenly betray me
Chastising me
Cursing me
And slandering me
Knowing when to strike
Seeking my most vulnerable times
You strike like a serpent
You wound me deep
And I know when the sun comes up
You will appear as if nothing have happened
But know that its too late
My heart has fled from you and your abominable actions
Never again I will trust the likes of you
You will probably accuse me of being strange
Acting innocent and impeccable
But I know within you lies the serpent
And it was for a reason you were named sons of viper
