Haunting Poem by Max D. Hornbogen

Haunting

I look in your eyes, they stare at me with a haunting glance.
I walked around for a while until you said I could come back in your life.

What did I do wrong, was there something that I said.
Your memory will live on through the history of life.

I know, I've said to many things that you did not like...so I'll just things go by for now?
Would you open your doors and let me in?
I will not be the one to let you down, but you know in the end I will.

Your memory will live on through me, the way you looked at me at first was pressed to my heart deeply with love.

So would you open your doors and let me in your life...still I had my reasons of not being there?
My voice will be in the echoes of life, you will not hear me at all.

It seems like your door is always open and closing, everytime I stop on by.
I know you look out the window and wait for me to come...what would you do if I don't ever come back to you.

Maybe I will find you in a beautiful light, somewhere I will find my way back to you? .
