Have I not seen
the consequences of my own actions
did I not know that I’d be lost forever
in this maze of inaction
missing in action taken down
D.O.A nowhere within this no man’s land
between the deed and the consequence?
as always the fault remains mine
and I hold it to my heart
like the greatest treasure on earth
for the fault is all that I own
the consequence of all I that have seen
everywhere that I have been
