He Buried Himself Poem by Suchoon Mo

He Buried Himself

He Buried Himself

nobody went to his funeral
because there was none

but in the cemetery
there is a new tomb stone
bearing his name

there is a rumor among drunkards
that he carried his own casket
to the cemetery
placed his own tomb stone
and buried himself in the grave
that was his destiny

he was a solitary ghost
even before he died
