And the pain inside his heart
He wants us both to love eachother
So he tears us both apart
He likes to feel the guilt
And the grief he puts me through
He wants to feel the sorrow
Of the love that he once knew
He likes to feel the hate
The love that's in disguise
He wants to feel the hurt
That I so often see in his eyes
He likes to hold me in his arms
And love me with all his might
He wants to let me in
So he locks me out on spite
He loves me so much he hates me
Now he doesn't know what to do
He wants to open up his heart
So he shuts it like a fool
