He Moves With Such Grace Poem by Collin Hagan

He Moves With Such Grace

He moves with such grace and swiftness.
The dark hides his every move.
A figure in the corner of your eye.
Seen for a moment, and then lost in the darkness.
You try to lose him but he is always there.
Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide.
You run around the corner.
Yet there he stands.
Right beside you, once again.
He takes many shapes and sizes.
He only appears in the light.
Then disappears in the dark.
He is in your home.
He is down the street.
What is this terrible creature that constantly pursues you?
You’ve figured out something new.
He follows everyone.
“What is it! ” you shout
It is but your shadow, prancing about.
Do not fear, for it is safe.
Your shadow is harmless.
You shadow is fake.
It follows you everywhere.
Thinking you could hide.
That was your one mistake.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

I love the whole poem i like the part it says do not fear, for it is safe very nice wording.... Also the part about the shadows is harmless. I like that because it is true and i always scare myself with my own shadow.. Nice write..
