He's Coming Soon - Poem by Alece Woosley
He's coming soon; I hear that all the time,
and see the people's eyes when they say it.
They have a special hope in mind,
it's Like their telling me and not themselves.
I don't see the eyes of God when it is said.
Those words used too much for an explanation;
I feel like they are trying to change my life.
With out the material!
The material is harder to get,
Then to say just those three words,
three words that is everything.
I'm waiting for someone to show it.
When I see those people,
with the true look in their eyes.
I feel what they feel and
see what they've seen.
It just takes a moment,
to notice the truth.
The looks in their eyes are real.
When they say those now four words.
