As alone, as he will ever be
in his blanket fast asleep,
a baby dreams of the only face
that he will never see.

All he knows,
and all he wants,

and all he ever needs

has left him here forever
all alone in all his dreams.

When he awakes, those gentle tears
will never change what's done.
he's dreaming of the only one
that he has ever loved.

While somewhere she is hurting,
Somewhere she is breaking.
In her mind she see's his tears
her broken heart is saying-

'You may never dream of teddy bears
or ever dream of castles,
but you'l always dream of your mommy
who loved you while she had you

And there'l be someone who will want you,
someone who will hold you,
They'l wipe away your precious tears
and always they will love you,

someone who'l take care of you! someone who will need you, !
someone who will always be

your mommy and never leave you
