Heads Pace Poem by Tiger Irish

Heads Pace

When you read this poem,
The answers won't suddenly appear.
What you're afraid of now,
shall remain a fear.

You won't gain weight,
Nor will you lose it from this read.
If you find yourself in jail,
This won't help you to get freed.

However you may gain something unique,
To the journey you are on.
You may take stock and listen to yourself.
Before that time is gone.

Feeling anxious, scared, lonely or unfulfilled.
By sharing this feeling with anyone,
Regardless, you'll be thrilled.

When you have unloaded.
You hear your thoughts being spoken.
You might realise the answer.
Perhaps nothing is broken.

Know that you,
Are the only one of you,
There ever will be.
You can make your own legacy.

Know that this poem
Is written with you in mind.
Know that you have the privilege,
To always be kind.

The most creative and dangerous place one can hide,
Is in their own head.
Don't miss out on living.
Make mistakes like the rest of us instead.
