Hear Ye Hear Ye Hear Ye Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Hear Ye Hear Ye Hear Ye

Wherever yet we tend to go
However far or wide
The earth bears witness Jesus’ flow
Can hear His chosen bride

God’s word will scold exalt and guide
Convict of sin and shame
Will comfort heal will turn life’s tide
In Jesus’ holy name

Salvation floods through every land
Life’s tree bears fruit of Light
Through Jesus’ Christ we understand
To do what’s good and right

But whom pays heed what God would say?
Who’ll search for life anew?
Who’ll continue their own sweet way?
Who’ll change the things they do?

Who’ll come to Christ on bended knee?
Who’ll seek God’s Lamb on high?
Who’ll see what none before could see?
And cease to wonder why

Within who’s heart will truth adhere?
Who’ll eat the living word?
Who has an ear the facts to hear?
Who’ll treat it as absurd?

Who’ll believe in the living Christ?
Accept Him as God’s Son?
That He for us was sacrificed?
That Heavens will be done?

The tomb of Christ’s in you and I
Each child who’s born again
Who God’s ordained never to die
But with His Son to reign
