Hearing Poem by philip teed

Hearing

We know nothing of emotion,
but what we feel.
We know nothing of touch,
but what we touch.
We know nothing of sight,
but what we see.
We know nothing of taste,
but what we taste.
We know nothing of smell,
but what we smell.
These senses are too weak.
Hearing is the one most can't live without.
It is with hearing that we know what is going on.
Sight and taste can decieve you,
but hearing lets you know.
If it twas' not for hearing
Where Would We Be Today.
