I am lonely and confused,
I wonder what will happen..
I hear my heart weeping,
I see the tears that form..
I am lonely and confused.

I pretend that I am happy,
I feel it pulling me down..
I touch my soul's lament,
I worry if I will ever recover..
I cry for my hearts content,
I am lonely and confused.

I understand that my life is short..
I say it will be full of hurt and deciet..
I dream of sometimes letting go.
