Heartless Poem by Alexander Foald

Heartless

A beauty stands beside a tree
Burnt by the sun, blown by the wind
A time when there is nothing exists
When the dark consumes the light

Out of feelings feels the beauty
Cannot wait any longer to meet its end
Jumping down from the edge of faith’s hill
The world watches through an eye of a child

Fate, be more obvious to one’s mind
For anything she hid in the past, doesn’t give a damn
But to surrender to the depth of love is a sin
And being heartless is the last thing she ever desired
