Salvation is The Way to Life
Sifting of chaff and wheat
God searching for a faithful wife
Who’ll serve at Jesus’ feet
The Truth God sent our hearts to change
To spare us from His wrath
Man’s selfish ways to rearrange
To walk His chosen path
It’s not a passage for the weak
Nor those who’s hearts are faint
But those God’s face till death will seek
Who’ll finish life a saint
A saint! Or follower of Christ
A sinner cleansed in blood
Not counting what they’ve sacrificed
But living as they should
Christ’s not religion with a veil
Or ploy for blinded fools
Nor superstitious fairy tale
With old fictitious rules
For who but fools would live a lie?
Witnessing things they’d seen
Be willing then for that to die
What truly hadn’t been
Yet those who stood at torment’s trial
Bore witness true and free
Fearing not at death to smile
Because of life to be
For just a hoax! Would these have died?
Would this! All twelve have planned?
If He who rose was not inside
Giving them strength to stand
