Heaviness Poem by Jahneleen Quinones Quinones

Heaviness

"The Art of the World in My Heart"
by Gigi Quin

I.
Aromatic cinnamon bark and sandalwood,
Blending with the mist of vanilla;
As sweet as the rose,
As strong as the ocean breeze.
Oh what a wonderful creature you are.
Just like the fine lemon dew, squeezed a smile to the sun
Oh what an amazing face you have
Soft as the angel's clouds.
The morning lavender fragrance
Hugs the air of pines
Your dew that caresses the purpose in life.
The sprinkle of the tropical sand
Snows melt away
When the wolf howls to the moon
They worship your mystery.
Oh what a puzzling piece of treasure.
Diamonds from Africa,
You shine beyond the light.
II.
One tatami for my thoughts
Sixteen kens for my emotions
When cherry blossoms fall
My winter will be with you;
There is never a dark night time
When your grace illuminates
A hot cup of chamomile tea
With a whim of your silhouette
My autumn will be with it;
The sound of the Russian dance
Is the rhythm to my soul
But the music of summer
Will be a feast by your side;
Gentle bees fly around you
Your smell like nectar
And a presence of bliss,
And perfect field of peace
My spring will not end in gloom.
III.
And red soil notice your eyes.
The flaws of emerald cuts
Are as beautiful as your kind.
Accept my genuine love
Like how the rubies gleam.
You connect me to the stars
bequeathed with divine element
Hypnotizing string of leaves
Milky way of joy and comfort
But highways and roads of despair
When your magnificence
I cannot witness
Gather me with your warmth
It is the source of my atmosphere.
