Hectic Poem by Nathaniel Graves

Hectic

Grievance the grudge,
The undeserving opponent,
For he who is mad,
Stand down in the pit of
Disregard
And slay the foul scoundrel of a beast;
Slay the heart and soul
Of the unforgiving –
Of the unreasonable mockery –
And effort a retaliate
To propose a new law.
An unjustification
For an unoriginal scheme.
Like wise,
But calamity will
Still seduce
The horror of it all...
