Her Last Breath - Poem by Jameaka Shibles

As she takes her last breath of life,
The angels reach for her,
An angel on each side.
She refuses to go,
She doesn't want to say goodbye.
The angels start to move,
Her heart is breaking.
The angels smile,
Telling her it's not going to hurt,
She won't be in anymore pain.
She refuses to go.
As she takes her last breath of life,
The angels take her home.
