Her Last Night Poem by C.R. Ebowski

Her Last Night

smiling faces
dance around
living life
partying hard
night falls
morning sleeps
choices made
actions lived

she stumbled
staggering around
fumbling hands
keys unlock
my car

laughing together
cruising home
never reaching
forever begging
moments return

flipped around
smashed glass
shattered lives
thrown out
metal coffin

death smells
parents blame
friends shame
ultimate loss
begging forgiveness
her death
manufactured by
drunk driver
