Here In Lompoc (Free Verse)

There are some people
Who believe that 144,000
Will be sealed
Sadly
There has only been one
That has been sealed
How can I believe such a thing
Well I'll not go into detail
And repeat what I've stated
Many times before
After all
Who am I to say
I am the one
Who has been chosen
To seal those whom I believe
Are worthy to be sealed
Those who have overcome
Those whom My Father
Compels me to seal
Surely if I can not find
One
Other than myself
In such a small friendly
Neighborly town as Lompoc
What are my odds
Of finding anyone else
Anywhere else
Well
I'll let ya'll
Think about that
For a while
While My Father
Continues to deliberate
In his chambers
Did I fail to mention
Whom ya'lls Public Dumptruck is
It is none other
Than ya'lls church created savior
Jesus
And as if
There are a number
Of ya'll chosen few
Whom have ya'lls secret water well
Here in Lompoc
For ya'lls personal needs
Oh well
Thus is life
As if I brought forth
The Seal of The Living God
Hehehe
