Here in this Darkness:
Krh.01/23/2014

Here in this cold darkness
in this place is my world,
it speaks to me
and says I'm coming for you.

As I hide in the darkness
in the darkness hunger lies, thirst
my eyes are open seeing the first
hunger and pain.

Maybe this will be the last
my dreams of hunger ending,
that I don't have to be here
in the darkness with hunger and thirst.

The hunger keeps talking
about how it needs to feed,
all I can do
is wait here in the darkness ….Prey!

As the hunger gets closer
and takes me, transforms me, to this beast
my skin starts to turn
as so does my thirst.

My bones grow longer, claws and sharpen teeth
turning reasoning into blood lust,
the hunger and thirst surrounding
nothing can be done now for the hunger and thirst.
The screams of pain, but the hunger is a must!
