Here Is Where I Want To Be Poem by Robert Beksinski

Here Is Where I Want To Be

Your words can be heard

Long after they have been spoken

In my mind they linger

During the absence of your lips

Your touch can still be felt

Long after your warmth is gone

In my mind

Your thoughts and presence never leave

Without you is without control

I want, I need

I crave, I desire

I fall apart

With you is with peace

I hold, I kiss

I love, and I live
